AD-11 Solderless Breadboard

AD-11 Solderless Breadboard
A range of solderless breadboard modules that can interconnect to suit individual requirements. The basic board AD-01 consists of four blocks of six columns of 28 rows, the sockets in each row being interconnected. The blocks are a standard DIP size apart, although MSI and LSI type chips can be used. At both ends of the blocks, there are two power busses. The ‘Red’ bus is made up of two separate rows of 12 connecting sockets, and the ‘Black’ bus is one row of 24 connecting sockets.

There is an additional matrix of 30 by 6 sockets for non-dip type components. The six sockets in the vertical plane are interconnected. Each socket will accept solid wire from 20 to 30 swg (0•3 to 0•8mm). The base has a ‘sticky’ covering to hold the board firm on a workbench or surface. The AD-10 power block has 5 individual screw terminals that will accept 4•5mm Y-terminal, stripped wire or 4mm banana plug. Each terminal is connected to two sockets. The power block will snap lock onto the AD-01 base board to allow connections to the required power bus. The power block has the same ‘sticky’ base. After use the modules can be unlocked and remade into a different configuration.

AD-11 is one AD-01 and one AD-10. Size: 147 x 80mm

Arduino Pro Mini 328 - 5V/16MHz

This is a 5V Arduino running the 16MHz bootloader. Arduino Pro Mini does not come with connectors populated so that you can solder in any connector or wire with any orientation you need. We recommend first time Arduino users start with the Uno R3. It’s a great board that will get you up and running quickly. The Arduino Pro series is meant for users that understand the limitations of system voltage (5V), lack of connectors, and USB off board.

In order to accomplish this we used all SMD components, made it two layer, etc. This board connects directly to the FTDI Basic Breakout board and supports auto-reset. The Arduino Pro Mini also works with the FTDI cable but the FTDI cable does not bring out the DTR pin so the auto-reset feature will not work. There is a voltage regulator on board so it can accept voltage up to 12VDC. If you’re supplying unregulated power to the board, be sure to connect to the “RAW” pin and not VCC.
The latest and greatest version of this board breaks out the ADC6 and ADC7 pins as well as adds footprints for optional I2C pull-up resistors.

Features:
  • ATmega328 running at 16MHz with external resonator (0.5% tolerance)
  • 0.8mm Thin PCB
  • USB connection off board
  • Supports auto-reset
  • 5V regulator
  • Max 150mA output
  • Over current protected
  • Weighs less than 2 grams!
  • DC input 5V up to 12V
  • On board Power and Status LEDs
  • Analog Pins: 8
  • Digital I/Os: 14

DS9092L iButton Probe with LED

The DS9092L iButton® probe with LED provides the electrical contact necessary for the transfer of data to and from the DS19xx family of iButtons. The round probe shape provides a self-aligning interface that readily matches the circular rim of the iButton's MicroCan™ package. The solid metal contacts resist wear and are easy to keep clean.

The DS9092L has no moving parts, making it a rugged interface for harsh environments. The round center contact of the DS9092L houses the LED that is rated for maximum 20mA DC at 2.7V typical.

The probe comes with a brass M18 x 1 nut for panel mounting. Since the body of the probe also forms the ground contact, the panel should be of non-conducting material to avoid ground loops. The 30cm cable with connector is provided for easy connection to the system microcontroller.

Key Features
  • Solid metal read/write panel-mount probe for the iButton family
  • Integrated green LED for user-feedback signaling
  • Probe guides the entry of the iButton
  • iButton slides over the surface to self-clean contacts
  • Accessible shallow probe cavity simplifies removal of debris such as mud
  • Probe suited for panels of up to 3mm thickness
  • Contacts are made from solid 303 stainless steel with a blue nylon insulation
