The ID-240 is a robust dual FDX/HDX (TIRIS/Zoodiac) reader for animal tagging and fisheries intended for use with single or twin antennas. Suitable antenna systems for cattle will comprise two antennas separated by 2-2.2 meters.Also ideally suited for fish farms. The FDX read-range is up to 2.2m using Zoodiac (Sokymat) tags and the HDX read-range is up to 2m using TIRIS (Texas) ear tags. Requires 15volt DC regulated power at 0.4-2Amps. Supplied in water risisted alumium enclosure and PVC external antenna. Communications are via an RS232 link in 9600:N,8,1 format. Includes Internal beeper.
